The Faculty of Management and Economics was established in 1992, and commenced its activity with 92 students at undergraduate level in public Administration in Sistan and Baluchestan University. From 2002 onwards, with the aim of acquiring the necessary indicators for an upgraded university, an undergraduate degree and seven major courses of specialization in advanced courses were added. In this regard, The faculty has been accepting M.A. and Ph. D. students of financial management, public administration ,Economics, Entrepreneurship and Accounting . Thanks to the assistance of 33 members of scientific board, Currently , there are 7 Bachelor's degrees and 23 Master's degrees (14 Master's and 9 Doctoral Programs) at this college.

Now the college is  dealing with a variety of fields of study including:  organizations and methods, IT management, e-business, business management, financial management, accounting, Agricultural Economics, Theoretical Economics, Management of Entrepreneurship, Development, General and New Business, Financial Management, Governmental Management, Economics, and Economic Sciences.

The point to consider is that a significant number of graduates have in recent years been able to earn top-notch grades and a chive higher degrees in well-known Universities, which is a sign of the enrichment and suitability  of the faculty.

The faculty also enjoys audiovisual, computer and Video-projection facilities in some classes.
