The Department of Economics began its work by admission of 27 undergraduate students of Industrial Business in 1996 21 undergraduate students of Business Economics in 1998. This Department has been accepting M. A students in economic sciences since 2005, and Ph.D. student in Economics and Economic Since 2007. At the moment,  several programs into B.A. degree, M.A And PH.D are offered.

 

 

About Economics:

Economics is a branch of the social sciences that allocates human resources to the unlimited human demands in such a way as to achieve maximum prosperity and, in this regard, will pay to analyze the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services . This science is presented at higher education institutions under the title of Economic Sciences. The focus of the knowledge of the economy is on how economic factors behave and interact and how different economies work. The knowledge economy is divided into two branches of micro and macro. The microeconomics, the behavior of economic factors, such as households and firms and examines the theoretical basis for decision making of economic factors in different roles. In contrast, macroeconomics studies macroeconomic indicators such as gross national product, national income, exports and imports, unemployment, inflation, and so on. The present state of the economy is based on the indicator, and then the desired state of the economy is by using Set macroeconomic equilibrium patterns and provide and monitor appropriate conditions and policies with appropriate policies.
