Resources and facilities available to staff and students within the facility are:
The map library is a reference collection of world mapping atlases topographic and thematic maps and satellite images and aerial photographs for teaching and academic research. 
This in club a wide range of Iran topographic map (1:250000 و 1:50000 scale) The current provision of computing in the department of geography consists of over 15 computers spread over 1 site and several offices further computing facilities are available from the university computer center. In addition to printers scanners and a number of specialized pieces of equipment such as a digitizer camera video projector for giving presentations and GPS. 
A number of image processing and GIS packages including ESRIs, ERDAS Imagine, Surfer and Er-Mapper are available together with statistical packages   such as Minitab, plus SPSS and SAS.
A wide range of online bibliographic databases and online journals and the wider internet can be accessed from PC in the faculty. 
A number of geographical book and journal are available in department library and the university no/and 2 library can offer good services to students.
Some the physical geography library equipment is available for undergraduate students likes: 5microscope 15 stereoscope granulometer (vibrator), Cartographic and surveying equipment, 4digitaly planimeter etc…. 
Audio- visual equipment in the facility can help to student for their presentation. 
These equipments include:

    Overhead and opaque projectors  
    Visualize 
A research weather station established and can use by geography and physical students.  This station located in outdoor (free space).
The graduate and undergraduate students can use these equipments.
Microclimatology the climate of Iran and several courses need to use these station facilities. We record the climatic parameters of Zahedan region.
