Introduction

After the integration of Teachers Training University of Zahedan and University of Sistan and Baluchestan in 1992, department of Mathematics joined the science of faculty USB, and afterwards, by the establishment of Mathematic faculty,   this  department  transferred to  the faculty of Mathematics. Its academic activities goes back to 1989, in which B.sc. and M.Sc. students were admitted in Applied and Pure Mathematics. In 1991 and 2001, Ph.D. students were respectively admitted in Applied and pure Mathematics.

This department currently has 26 full-time faculty members with the academic rank of at least assistant professor. The efforts of professors and students of this department in various research fields lay the groundwork for successful participation of graduates in different national research centers and also have been caused representation of a large number of scientific papers in national and international journals as well as international conferences.

A summery of the status of students in the Department of Mathematics
