The meeting took place in the USB campus at night on June 18th, 2019. At the beginning of the meeting Dr. Gholam Reza Rezaii, the USB chancellor, expressed his satisfaction of receiving the international students, and that because of common cultural, geographical and religious backgrounds USB can become the most attractive hub for Afghan International students in Iran. He informed that the process of accepting overseas students from Afghanistan started three years ago and it occurred last year.
Moreover, He added that Afghanistan is making noticeable scientific progress and the USB international students can contribute to it after graduation from USB and returning to Afghanistan. He emphasized that all USB academics and staff are doing their best to satisfy the needs of Afghan students so that they study in a pleasant educational atmosphere.
