The representative of the supreme leader, Mr. Sadeghi, in the USB also expressed that because of Islamic beliefs and Holy Qoran, and philosopher/poets like Iqbal Lahouri, Seyed Jamal Aldin Asadabadi, and Goharshad, the people of the two countries have a common background. He expressed hope that once again the Islamic culture reaches its apex in close future.

Dr. Ghasemi, the director of the USB international office also gave a report of the process of internationalization of USB and added that USB currently hosts 70 international Afghan students. He expressed hope that the international students can act as ambassadors for USB and contribute to the internationalization of USB and invite more Afghan students to educate in USB.
