In line with the development of relations between the University of Sistan and Baluchestan and East African universities, a delegation headed by Dr. Mohammad Kordi Tamandani, research vice-president at the University of Sistan and Baluchestan, conducted joint talks with the heads of major universities in these countries, during a 7-day trip to Tanzania and Kenya. During the talks, two memorandums of scientific and cultural affiliation with the University of Kenya (in Nairobi) and Pouani University (in Mombasa) were signed.
