University’s board meeting with NERTA Company of Spain was held in order to reach an agreement on the construction of a 50-megawatt solar power plant.

The Spanish delegation came to Zahedan to coordinate the implementation of the second phase of the previously signed agreement on designing and constructing a 50-megawatt solar power plant, and at a meeting with USB’s board signed a second memorandum on the implementation of the second phase.

Based on this memorandum, the NERTA Company will operate this power plant on an area of 100 hectares within 18 months (From 22 February 2017 to October 2018).
