The International Conferences on Function Spaces have a 31-year tradition in Poland. The 12^th conference on Function Spaces, Function Spaces XII, was held from July 9 to July 14, 2018 in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland. The meeting was devoted to various aspects of the theory of function spaces, geometry of Banach spaces, operator theory on function spaces, interpolation theory, approximation theory and theory of vector Measures. Dr Hossein Hosseini Giv presented his talk entitled On Mazur’s property of Banach spaces on July 10, 2018.

During the conference days, Dr Hosseini Giv met and discussed ideas with professor Loukas Grafakos (University of Missouri, USA), Dr Anna Pelczar-Barwacz (Jagiellonian University, Poland) and Dr Maria Dolores Acosta (University of Granada, Spain). He also visited the Pedagogical University of Kraków and discussed ideas with Professor Piotr Blaszczyk.
